Three Lessons I’m Carrying Into 2026

1. Keep the job site clean — and be kind.
A tidy site shows respect for the work and the people doing it. And don’t underestimate the power of small gestures: grab extra coffees, say thank you, treat everyone like they matter. It always comes back around.

2. When you go out of bounds, reset and keep moving.
Real estate (and life) is a lot like soccer — sometimes you step out, get a penalty, take a breather… and then it’s back in the game. Mistakes happen. What matters is getting up, adjusting, and pushing forward.

3. Don’t forget to have fun.
This work is serious, but it doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. Keep things light, laugh when you can, and enjoy the process. If you’re not having fun building it, it’s probably not worth building at all.

Hot Spot

150 Rivington St, Unit 2F — Lower East Side: A modern 1-bed, 1-bath condo with southern light, floor-to-ceiling sound-reducing windows, and warm custom oak floors, tucked inside a full-service boutique building with a rooftop, gym, and 24-hour doorman. Smart design, Italian finishes, and unbeatable access to Delancey/Essex make this one about ease, light, and location.

Neighborhood Spotlight

Some things just feel like New York. Thank you to my neighbor (& fellow realtor) Danielle Sevier, for snapping a snowy pic of our festive set up.

Wishing you a season filled with light, good people, and moments worth slowing down for. Happy holidays from the West Village.
